2015 Daily Dance Dialogues

We have the pleasure to invite you to the 2015 Prix de Lausanne free conferences. Come in the foyer of the Beaulieu Theater and meet the stars of the jury:

Tuesday February 3rd: 6 pm

Lauren CUTHBERTSON, principal with The Royal Ballet

Lauren will share her personal experiences as a dancer, both in training and in her time at the Royal Ballet Company. Lauren will also speak on behalf of the Nureyev Foundation. The focus will be on achieving the best, and making healthy life choices that support both physical and artistic development, rather than being focused on short-term goals to be the best at all costs.

Wednesday February 4th: 5 pm

Cynthia HARVEY, president of the jury
Former Principal Dancer of the American Ballet Theater, New York and the Royal Ballet, London. International Guest Teacher. Founder of “En Avant” – a foundation for specialized ballet coaching.

Ethan STIEFEL, jury member
Former Principal Dancer of the American Ballet Theater, New York. Former director of the Royal New Zealand Ballet. Prix de Lausanne prize winner in 1989.

Thursday February 5th, 5 pm

Lisa-Maree CULLUM, jury member
Principal Dancer of the Bayerisches Staatsballett, Munich. Prix de Lausanne prize winner in 1988.

Chi CAO, jury member
Principal Dancer of the Birmingham Royal Ballet. Played Li Cunxin in the film “Mao’s Last Dancer”. Prix de Lausanne prize winner in 1994.
