The Prix de Lausanne is thrilled to announce that an Asia-Pacific Preselection will be held in Macau from 27 to 29 September 2024.

In a valued collaboration with SJM Resorts, S.A., an owner and operator of integrated resorts and luxury hospitality services in Macau, we are pleased to announce a significant opportunity for dancers from the Asia-Pacific region. For the first time since 2022, the Prix de Lausanne is holding a preselection in Asia, and for the very first time in the city of Macau SAR, China, highlighting its dedication to nurturing artistic talent and expanding opportunities within the global dance community. The preselection will be taking place at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, where up to 4 chosen dancers will have all expenses paid to participate in the 2025 Prix de Lausanne competition.

Registration

Asia-Pacific Preselection will be held in Macau from September 27 to September 29, 2024. 

  • Registration is open from May 15  at 12pm (Swiss time) to June 15.
  • The preselection is open to dancers who are citizens from Asia-Pacific region. CLICK HERE to see list of eligible countries.
  • Dancers must be born between 9 February 2006 and 8 February 2010. 
  • In addition to submitting the registration form, each applicant must submit a digital video by 15 June 2024
  • Participants need to pay the registration fee of CHF 200.- by 15 June 2024 to complete the registration process. The registration fee is non-refundable.

  • The preselection will be taking place at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau.

PROCEDURE

ELIGIBLE COUNTRIES 

Dancers can register for either or both the Prix de Lausanne – Asia-Pacific Preselection and/or the main Video Selection. Applying also for the main Video Selection may give them another chance of being selected for the competition. However, they are required to pay for all registration fees of each event.
