As a leading international key player in the dance world, we emphasise the paramount importance of dancers’ health and well-being. This commitment is reflected in our rigorous health policy and our dedication to upholding exemplary ethical standards in this field.
What we do:
In line with this core mission, the Prix de Lausanne has partnered with MotionLab, a member of the Swiss Medical Network since the end of 2024. With its holistic approach, MotionLab provides comprehensive, high-quality support to candidates throughout our projects.
MotionLab is a sports medicine centre based in Mont-sur-Lausanne and is part of the Swiss Medical Network. Established in 2019, this innovative centre places athletes at the heart of its activities with a 360° approach. Bringing together doctors, physiotherapists, nutritionists, psychologists, podiatrists, physiologists, and physical trainers under one roof, MotionLab champions excellence in sports and offers holistic support to athletes at all levels, as well as to anyone striving to maintain or enhance their fitness.
Since 2024, MotionLab has been a partner of the Prix de Lausanne. In collaboration with the Clinique de Genolier and the Clinique de Montchoisi, it ensures the well-being of dancers throughout the selection process and up until the conclusion of the competition.

For over 20 years, the Prix de Lausanne has maintained a rigorous health policy that upholds exemplary ethical standards, ensuring that every candidate’s well-being receives the utmost attention throughout the entire competition process. This pioneering approach, in the dance world, has been developed with the support and expertise of Dr. Carlo Bagutti, a physician specialising in general medicine (Swiss Medical Association) and sports medicine (SSMS). He has played a key role in the continuous enhancement of these processes, particularly by contributing to the implementation and optimisation of our comprehensive medical form system.
Carlo Bagutti is the Medical Director of the Vidymed Swiss Olympic Medical Centre in Lausanne. He is a member of the International Olympic Committee Athletes’ Entourage Commission, a member of the Swiss Athletics Federation Medical team, and a Board member of the Rudolf Nureyev Foundation.
