For this upcoming edition, nine renowned personalities from the dance world will compose the Prix de Lausanne 2019 jury panel. We are delighted to provide the candidates with a prestigious panel of dance professionals. We thank them for their dedication and time! Their commitment ensures the reputation and the success of the international competition.
“The Prix de Lausanne has huge significance for me as it launched my professional dance career after I won the Gold Medal in 1990 which was a truly life-changing experience for me. I know the life-changing effect the competition can have on the lives of young, talented dancers and want to be part of the process of giving others some of the opportunities that the world of dance has given to me.” (Carlos Acosta)
The jury will be made up of the following members:

- Julio Bocca, Former Principal Dancer, American Ballet Theatre – Freelance teacher and coach – Member of the jury, Prix de Lausanne 2014 & President of the jury, Prix de Lausanne 2016
- Gillian Murphy, Principal Dancer, American Ballet Theatre – Prize Winner, Prix de Lausanne 1995
- Madeleine Onne, Artistic Director, Finnish National Ballet – Former Principal Dancer, Royal Swedish Ballet
- Garry Trinder, Director, New Zealand School of Dance
- Éric Vu-An, Artistic Director, Ballet Nice Méditerranée – Former International Principal Dancer – Member of the jury 1996
- Samuel Wuersten, Director of the Holland Dance Festival, Codarts Arts University Rotterdam, BA/MA Dance Program at Zurich Arts University in Switzerland
