Diego Poblete began his ballet studies at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. He also studied at the Alvin Ailey School in New York with David Howard and took classes with Richard Alston at The Place in London, and with Juan Cruz de Garaio Snaola in Berlin. 

Since 2016, Diego Poblete has been co-director of the Ballet Contemporáneo del Teatro General San Martín in Buenos Aires.

Diego is a highly accomplished and experienced ballet dancer, choreographer, and teacher with a comprehensive understanding of

various international dance techniques. Possesses expertise in both classical and contemporary dance and has worked with renowned international choreographers, such as Mauricio Wainrot, Oscar Araiz, Ana María Stekelman, Robert North, Mark Godden, Serge Bennathan, or John Wisman. 

He is currently also a choreographer for various projects in Argentina and internationally.
