Hannah O’Neill

Guest Artist for the Prix de Lausanne Interlude 2019

In 2007, Hannah O’Neill is Finalist at the Youth America Grand Prix and is awarded a full scholarship to The Australian Ballet School. In 2008, she starts at The Australian Ballet School and one year later is Prize Winner at the Prix de Lausanne 2009. In 2010, she wins the first place for the women’s section at the Youth America Grand Prix and in 2011 graduates with honors. She also enters the Paris Opera Ballet on a seasonal contract.

In 2013, Hannah is engaged into the Paris Opera Ballet and is promoted to Coryphée. In 2014, she wins the silver medal at the Varna International Ballet Competition as well as the Prix du Cercle de Carpeaux. That same year, she is promoted to Sujet. In 2015, she wins the Prix de L’AROP and is promoted to Première Danseuse. One year later, in 2016, she is invited to dance with the Mariinsky Ballet in St Petersburg and wins the Benois de la Danse with her performance of Paquita by Pierre Lacotte.
